About The Position

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a renowned cultural institution, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors, staff, and collections. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a cultural institution.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of galleries, public spaces, staff areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe visitor activity and support established museum guidelines regarding restricted areas, exhibits, entrances, and exits.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
