Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, staff, volunteers, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a cultural institution setting.
Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as directed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout galleries, public spaces, staff areas, entrances, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, provide directions and assistance, and support orderly entry, exit, and movement throughout the location.
Prepare accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
