As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Vehicle Route Patrol in Santa Fe Springs, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will primarily drive assigned routes, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with tenants, visitors, and team members while supporting a welcoming environment. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property management personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of commercial real estate buildings, parking areas, common spaces, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and contractor activity, and report suspicious conditions, maintenance concerns, or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and documenting actions taken.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident reports, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
