As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for residents and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Guard card is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, vendors, and/or clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential community grounds, common areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify authorized visitors and vendors in accordance with site procedures, and document relevant entries and incidents.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency services as directed by site protocols.
• Complete detailed activity reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation while communicating observations and concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
