As a Security Officer Guest Services Coordinator in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Requirements

  • Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control responsibilities, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor front desk activity and help to document visitor entry, resident requests, deliveries, and other security-related concerns in accordance with location policies.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with residents, property management, and/or emergency personnel as needed.
  • Answer phones, greet incoming individuals, and help to direct residents, guests, and/or service providers while maintaining awareness of front desk operations.
  • Support residential property operations by reporting maintenance-related observations, monitoring cameras and/or alarm activity when assigned, and completing required reports with attention to detail.
