As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Access Management in Sacramento, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. You will communicate clearly, respond to security-related concerns, and use technology to document activity. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Possession of a state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious activity, hazards, or policy violations according to site procedures.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain professional communication with healthcare staff, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership.
