As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Reception Coordinator in Nazareth, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Requirements

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control/badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access Control/Badge Experience (B201): Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing access badges for employees and visitors.
  • Alarm Panel Experience (B202): Candidates must demonstrate experience with alarm panel systems, including installation, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Knowledge of security protocols related to alarm systems is essential.
  • Customer Service Experience (B219): Candidates should possess strong customer service skills, with a proven track record of effectively addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor and manage access at the front desk by greeting visitors, verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, and directing individuals according to site procedures.
  • Maintain accurate visitor, driver, delivery, and incident records, including logging arrivals, departures, and/or access-related activity.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
  • Monitor front desk communications, cameras, and/or access control systems, reporting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access to the distribution location.
