As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Driving Role Patrol in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, operate a vehicle as part of assigned duties, monitor access points, and help maintain a secure environment for passengers, employees, and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and remain visible to help deter incidents. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transportation facility.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned areas, including station platforms, entrances, waiting areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas, while reporting unusual conditions or activities.
  • Monitor access points and assist with controlling entry to restricted or employee-only areas in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency responders as directed.
  • Prepare clear and timely activity, incident, and patrol reports, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
