About The Position

Sunstates Security is hosting a Hiring Event for Security Officers on Wednesday, May 20th, from 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM. Meet with Hiring Managers for Security Officer positions in the Sandusky, Ohio area to work in a Data Center. Various days and shifts are available with a pay rate of $22.00/hr, with weekly pay. The Data Center Security Officer is responsible for maintaining the physical security of a critical customer site. Daily responsibilities include managing/maintaining Access Control, Cameras and Work order systems. A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.

Requirements

• Be able to obtain a OH Security License.
• 2+ years of experience in a customer service role.
• Proficient in Microsoft.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Willing and able to work holidays, weekends, and in all weather conditions.
• Availability to work all shifts, mornings, evenings, and overnights for Flex positions.
• Reliable transportation.
• Must regularly walk or stand for extended periods of time and distance.
• High School diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

• Security officer, law enforcement, and/or military experience is a plus.
• Prior experience working in a data center is a plus.

Responsibilities
