About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer to support an aerospace and defense location in Saint Louis, Missouri. The role serves and safeguards clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, conducting access-control activities, and providing customer service and communication. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. The schedule has not yet been assigned and will be determined during hiring, onboarding, and training based on business needs. The position requires an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance and at least one year of security-related experience.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations, and may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A state-, county-, or city-issued security-related license.
• A Guard Card or license.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Carry out emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
• Monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence, and conduct routine access-control activities.
