As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a technology-focused location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine rounds, report observations, support access procedures, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor entry, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the technology facility, production areas, offices, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and required logs while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
