About The Position

As a Security Officer - Secret Clearance in Gilbert, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, respond to alarms and incidents, and help to deter unauthorized activity. Requirements

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• An active Department of Defense Secret clearance is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report access-control concerns to appropriate site personnel.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and observations in clear, accurate reports and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.
