As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Tablet Support in Richardson, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and assist patients, visitors, and staff with professionalism. You will communicate clearly, respond to routine concerns, and use computer or tablet tools as needed. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as required.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to deter unauthorized entry and directing individuals to appropriate areas.
• Prepare accurate reports of incidents, observations, and interactions, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.
