About The Position

As a Security Officer Hospital Patrol Associate in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

• Ability to meet hospital vaccine requirements is required.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with supervisors and/or medical personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, helping to confirm compliance with site-specific protocols for restricted areas, deliveries, and after-hours entry.
• Support daily operations by reporting hazards, assisting with directions, and addressing security-related concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
