As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Security Clearance in ARLINGTON, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, observe alarm systems, and help maintain a secure environment for personnel and visitors. Your visible presence, professional communication, and customer service will help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense-related location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as required, and maintain awareness of visitor and contractor activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
