About The Position

As a part-time Security Officer in Orlando, Florida, you will serve and safeguard clients at a dynamic media location. You will provide front-desk security, greet visitors, manage access, monitor entry activity, and respond to security-related concerns. The role calls for exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a professional environment. The position is scheduled Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience.
Fluent spoken, written, and reading Spanish.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

A state-, county-, or city-issued security license is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Staff the front desk, greet visitors, verify access authorization, and direct guests according to site procedures.
Monitor visitor activity, maintain accurate visitor logs and/or access records, and communicate relevant information to appropriate site personnel.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, escalating concerns according to established procedures.
Answer incoming calls, assist with general inquiries, and support front-desk administrative duties as assigned.
