Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience are required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and clients while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and applicable laws.
• Maintain a professional armed presence and help support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff while documenting observations and incidents accurately.
• Operate assigned equipment and carry authorized firearms in accordance with training, licensing requirements, company policy, and applicable regulations.
