As a Security Officer - Mornings Full Time in Archbold, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic food and beverage location as an Access Control Officer, helping to monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support security-related operations through strong communication and customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, screening entry requests, and supporting access control activities at the location.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, gates, and/or badge access points to help to deter unauthorized entry, verify credentials, and document visitor and vehicle activity according to post orders.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and emergency responders when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or conditions that may require security-related follow-up.
  • Support receiving, shipping, and/or delivery access procedures by checking identification, directing approved drivers and visitors, and maintaining required logs and reports.
