About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Customer Service Ambassador in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, at an educational location. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. The role provides customer service, communicates clearly, and responds professionally to site needs. Work is scheduled Monday through Thursday, 2:30 PM to 9:00 PM. The pay rate is $17.25 per hour.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• State or local licensing may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients.
• Perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and support a welcoming environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
