About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Observation in Clayton, North Carolina, at a pharmaceutical manufacturing location. The role provides a fixed, dependable weekly shift at an assigned site, with a six-month commitment, and the option to claim additional shifts through the scheduling platform. Extra shifts may allow employees to increase their hours up to 40 per week, with the option to scale back. Pay is $21.21 per hour. The posted schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• State or local licensing may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
• Access control and badge experience.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and potential hazards.
• Monitor access control points and verify credentials according to site procedures; document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity as required.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders according to established protocols.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain logs of patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities.
