Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will monitor alarm panels and access control systems, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. Use computer or tablet tools to document activities and communicate professionally while demonstrating our agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven values.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid qualifications are preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, data center-adjacent areas, parking facilities, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access activity and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials in accordance with site-specific requirements; maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership while supporting a professional, orderly environment.
