As a Security Officer Full Time Customer Service Patrol in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a critical utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and report observations with professionalism. You will support a welcoming environment through clear communication and exceptional customer service. Requirements

Have at least two years of experience in a security-related role.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and utility operations personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to established site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility facilities, offices, parking areas, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts, suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
