As a Security Officer Clinical Driving Role in Gulf Breeze, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be willing to meet hospital vaccine requirements.
  • Be willing to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be willing to restrain individuals when required in a hospital environment.
  • Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor high-traffic areas and assist with visitor screening, directional support, and access control processes in accordance with location protocols.
  • Support a professional environment by communicating with staff and/or first responders when needed and following post orders for medical facilities and patient care areas.
