As a Security Officer Patrol in Santa Rosa, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with outstanding service and communication. Requirements

  • Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including entrances, hallways, parking areas, and perimeter points, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, helping to support authorized entry procedures and reporting unusual behavior, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with security-related support during medical emergencies, facility alerts, and/or other urgent events while maintaining professionalism and respectful interaction with patients and staff.
