As a Security Officer Clinical Support Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication while bringing a reliable, caring, and team-oriented approach grounded in integrity and innovation.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A minimum of 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or medical-related situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and general information, and support a professional atmosphere within a healthcare location.
• Document incidents, observations, and/or daily activities in required reports, and follow site post orders and Allied Universal guidelines while on duty.
