As a Security Officer Licensed Unarmed Patrol in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy government location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or public agency personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, parking locations, roadways, and perimeter areas, noting unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations according to post instructions.
  • Support day-to-day location operations by providing directions, answering questions, assisting with crowd management, and maintaining a visible presence aligned with Allied Universal standards.
