Requirements

  • Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
  • 1+ years of Security Experience
  • 21+ years of age
  • Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
  • Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only

Nice To Haves

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and public agency personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, public areas, restricted access points, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access activity and observe people, vehicles, and/or property throughout the location, documenting security-related incidents and escalating concerns according to site procedures.
  • Support orderly operations by assisting with directions, answering general questions, and reporting maintenance, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
