As a Security Officer Unarmed Driving Role in Castle Hayne, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Patrol Officer at an educational location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter incidents, and support a welcoming campus environment. This driving position calls for strong communication and customer service while responding to security-related concerns. Requirements

  • Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and reporting requirements.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and observe campus activity, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain accurate daily activity logs and incident reports, and communicate professionally with campus personnel, visitors, and emergency responders.
