Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, data center-adjacent areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and assigned security-related systems; verify credentials and maintain accurate logs and incident reports.
• Communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts in accordance with post orders.
