As a Security Officer Full Time Asset Protection Patrol in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven values.

Requirements

• Possess at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Possess customer service experience, preferred.
• Possess loss prevention experience, preferred.
• Possess X-ray screening experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution facility, loading areas, parking areas, trailer yards, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site requirements.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, damaged property, and potential hazards, completing accurate activity and incident reports as required.
