As a Security Officer Full Time Visitor Registration Driver in Monroe, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a utilities location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying authorized access, and supporting security-related procedures. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures and access control policies at a utilities location.
  • Monitor and control access to facilities, gates, and restricted areas by verifying credentials, authorizations, and visitor documentation.
  • Maintain accurate access logs, issue and collect visitor badges or temporary credentials, and report access discrepancies according to site procedures.
  • Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
