We are seeking a reliable and professional Security Officer to provide overnight coverage at our site in Meriden, CT. The ideal candidate will maintain a safe and secure environment by actively monitoring the premises, enforcing policies, and responding to incidents as needed. The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers. Responsibilities
- Conduct routine patrols of the facility and grounds
- Monitor surveillance systems and alarms
- Control access to the site and verify credentials
- Respond to incidents, emergencies, and security concerns
- Prepare detailed reports of daily activities and incidents
- Maintain a visible and professional presence at all times
- Follow all site-specific post orders and company policies
