As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol in Sanford, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic manufacturing location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support staff and visitors with strong customer service and communication while contributing to a caring, agile, and reliable team that values innovation, teamwork, and integrity every day.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, following post orders, and supporting security-related response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations according to location protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing location, including production areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify visitor and contractor authorization as directed, and report suspicious behavior or policy concerns to site leadership.
• Support a clean and professional environment by communicating with employees, visitors, and/or vendors, helping to deter unauthorized access and other security-related issues.
