As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol in Talladega, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access activity with professionalism and care. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a government location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns to site contacts.
Support daily operations by maintaining a visible presence, following post orders, and completing required reports related to security-related incidents and/or observations.
