As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Associate in Fresno, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and/or First Aid experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including exterior areas, perimeter points, parking areas, and other assigned spaces, with working conditions that may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by observing activity, checking credentials when required, and reporting unusual behavior or conditions.
• Support day-to-day operations by communicating clearly with site personnel, following post orders, and completing assigned reports related to incidents, patrol activity, and/or maintenance concerns.
