Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entrances, exits, gates, and/or reception points by verifying credentials, screening visitors, issuing passes, and maintaining accurate access logs for the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts, supervisors, and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report security-related concerns.
• Support shipping, receiving, and vehicle access processes by observing deliveries, checking authorizations, and documenting arrivals, departures, and/or other site activity according to post orders.
