About The Position

Life Protect 24/7 is searching for self-motivated, high-performing individuals with security experience, and a desire to advocate for team safety. This role is responsible for providing security, safety, and protection of the people and property of the building. The Security Officer will be responsible for preventing losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures, and restraining trespassers.

Requirements

Previous Security Experience
Must be at least 18 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to lift 50lbs
Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal)
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time
Motivation, and desire to achieve powered by YOU!

Responsibilities

Walking rounds in the building & on the property
Assisting in opening lockers
Actively watching Security Camera footage, communicating infractions with management
Responding to calls for Assistance: Code Blue (Medical Emergency, Coordinate with Emergency Services) and Code Red (Security issues)
Securing the premises of our Norfolk, VA headquarters
Ensuring the safety of working personnel by patrolling property
Monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, and access points, and permitting entry
Responsible for preventing losses and damage by reporting irregularities
Informing violators of policy and procedures; as well as restraining trespassers
