As a Security Officer Visitor Registration Driver in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a financial institution location, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge processes, monitor entry activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Requirements

  • Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
  • Operate the front desk and reception area, greet visitors, verify identification and appointment information, issue visitor credentials, and maintain visitor records in accordance with site procedures.
  • Monitor entry activity, cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems from a stationary post, reporting unusual activity or equipment concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
  • Assist with controlling access to restricted areas, receiving deliveries, directing guests, and communicating professionally with employees, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.
