About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed Security Officer to provide visitor badge assistance at an assigned manufacturing and industrial site in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. The role provides a fixed weekly anchor shift requiring a six-month commitment, with the option to claim additional shifts through the scheduling platform. Additional shifts may allow the employee to work up to 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back. Pay is $15.50 per hour. The listed schedule is Friday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for an unarmed role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation, subject to applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws and regulations, potentially before employment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with access control and badges is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors while following security procedures and site-specific policies, and assist with emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations according to established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility interiors, exteriors, parking areas, production-adjacent spaces, and the perimeter.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate security activity and incident logs and reports.
• Communicate observed hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
