About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol for an assigned utility-related industrial site in Ellisville, Mississippi. The role provides a dependable weekly anchor shift with a required six-month commitment. Officers may claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform, with the option to work up to 40 hours per week and adjust their hours as needed. The listed pay rate is $12.36 per hour. The scheduled shift is Thursday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM.

The officer provides customer service and carries out site security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities. Duties include unarmed patrols, access control, incident response, and preparing accurate reports. Applicants must have at least six months of security-related experience and a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is contingent on applicable background and drug screening requirements; licensing may also be required under state or local rules.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to drug screening to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required prior to employment, subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and drivers at a utility-related industrial location while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas, and report unusual conditions and potential hazards.
• Monitor access by verifying credentials, controlling entry and exit points, and maintaining visitor, contractor, and vehicle logs in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare clear and accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.
