You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and assist visitors with professional customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of government buildings, public areas, parking facilities, and surrounding perimeters to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, maintain visitor logs, and direct guests to appropriate public services or locations.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and public agencies when needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
