Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a State Office in Boston MA Wednesday - Sunday 11 PM - 7 AM Starting Pay is $22.05 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training As a Security Officer in Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to situations as they arise. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and staff, and support a welcoming environment. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a government transportation location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, roadways, transit-related facilities, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and unauthorized access.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report access-control concerns according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, traffic-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site representatives and emergency responders when appropriate.
  • Prepare clear and accurate reports, complete daily activity logs, and promptly communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
