About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Enhanced Security Officer for a hospital morgue access driver role in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The position provides a designated weekly shift at an assigned site, with a six-month commitment to that fixed shift. Officers may also claim additional shifts through the scheduling platform, with the option to work up to 40 hours per week and scale back when needed. The role involves providing security and customer service in a healthcare setting, responding to incidents, patrolling assigned areas, monitoring access, and documenting activities.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located; a valid driver's license is required for driving positions.
• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly and use problem-solving skills during medical emergencies, visitor concerns, and disruptive behavior.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, patient care areas, parking locations, and the facility perimeter.
• Monitor access points and help maintain authorized access to restricted areas according to site-specific policies.
• Accurately document incidents, observations, and activities, and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.
