About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Perimeter Inspection in Naperville, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a hotel or resort location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service to guests and staff. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to hotel and resort guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to guest concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate hotel personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of guest areas, entrances, parking areas, common spaces, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to hotel management and Allied Universal leadership.
