As a Security Officer Armed Security Clearance Perimeter Inspection in Manassas, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and batons is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a technology and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, data infrastructure areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Maintain awareness of site activity, verify credentials as required, and report security-related observations, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate reports and required documentation for patrols, incidents, and/or emergency response activities.
