As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, support access control functions, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Using Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, and innovative approach, you will work with integrity and teamwork to help create a welcoming environment for tenants, guests, and staff.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and report observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, entrances, exits, and the perimeter of the location.
• Monitor access points, help to deter unauthorized activity, and document daily activities, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns observed during patrols.
• Support the professional appearance and daily operations of a commercial real estate location by providing directions, answering questions, and communicating security-related concerns in a courteous manner.
