As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an educational location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to alarms, and support a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Access Control/Badge Experience
  • Alarm Panel Experience
  • Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet
  • CPR Certification
  • Customer Service Experience

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors while carrying out site-specific policies, security-related procedures, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established campus protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and security-related hazards to appropriate campus personnel and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and daily activities in accordance with site requirements.
