As a Security Officer Vehicle Driver Patrol in Maple Grove, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, access concerns, and property-related issues.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious conditions.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notify appropriate personnel, and document observations and actions taken.
  • Complete detailed activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs while communicating professionally with site contacts, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership.
