About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer for a driving and barrier-control post at a logistics and distribution location in Nazareth, Pennsylvania. The role supports a welcoming and controlled environment by managing entry points, verifying credentials, monitoring access activity, conducting patrols, and providing customer service. The scheduled shifts are Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The pay rate is $17.00 per hour.

Requirements

Possess a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Control facility access by verifying credentials, monitoring entry and exit activity, maintaining visitor and driver logs, and directing authorized individuals to designated areas.
Monitor truck traffic, delivery activity, and access points to support orderly movement of personnel and goods.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, escalating concerns according to site-specific procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
