About The Position

Securitas USA is hiring entry-level Security Officers for construction site positions in New Albany, Ohio. Full-time and part-time positions are available, with all shifts available. Officers must work at least one weekend shift on Saturday or Sunday. The pay rate is $18.00 per hour. Security Officers help safeguard clients, their people, and assets by monitoring their surroundings, observing and reporting potential risks, following established protocols, and providing customer service. Applicants must pass a drug screen and background check, hold Driver Certification, meet applicable state, county, and municipal Security Officer licensing requirements, be over 18, and be able to read, write, and speak English. The hiring event is Thursday, October 22, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Hampton Inn & Suites, 5220 Forest Dr., New Albany, OH 43054. Requirements

Pass a drug screen and background check.
Have Driver Certification.
Meet all state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers.
Be able to read, write, and speak English.
Be over the age of 18.
Be able to assess situations and make informed decisions.
Be observant and diligent in monitoring environments.
Be able to follow instructions and protocols.
Have excellent customer service and communication skills.
Be physically able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods, climb stairs, and navigate uneven terrain.
Be available for weekend shifts.
